Cortland Lone Tree

I recently had the opportunity to work with Julia Ritter, a leasing agent at Cortland Lone Tree, for my move-in process. It’s a rare pleasure to encounter such an exceptional combination of professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. Julia’s expertise and understanding of the leasing process made a typically stressful situation feel completely manageable. Overall no where near worth the price, have had non functional AC throughout the entirety of our stay, have submitted 15+ services requests and still doesn’t work. Apartment manager told us it was fine and to open a window. Hot water is poor, if you do more than one load of laundry or use the dish washer and a load of laundry you won’t have hot water the rest of the day, gym equipment is often broken, locked doors are rarely actually locked with random people often wandering the hallways and have had multiple packages stolen. Staff are rarely helpful with issues and issues are rarely resolved, you can find much better run apartments with all the same amenities for this price range without all the added hassle that comes with this apartment.

We’ve been living here for the last 5 months or so and honestly, it has been good. We’ve had a couple issues arise but they’ve been handled promptly and with great customer service by management. I’ve seen complaints about the thin walls, and while we do hear the neighbors walking above us from time to time, there isn’t anything out of the norm of living in a multi floor complex or apartment building. All in all, we’re enjoying our experience here and absolutely love the location. A great combo with good customer service!

Apartment is nice but no elevators is not a wise choice, hauling everything up stairs everyday is already tiring. Parking situation is not good. Definetly alot of people taking up spots that don't live there and the residents who work late can't find parking unless it's across the whole complex. Each resident should get a spot that corresponds with their apartment.

Don’t listen to the reviews from several months/years ago. I have never felt unsafe. The staff had an overhaul and are AMAZING now. The design touches are classy. I am proud to have such a beautiful apartment. I always feel listened to by the staff (Julie and Keyanna). Work orders sometimes take a bit, but they are on top of it! My only real complaint is how dirty common areas can get….but you can’t blame the complex on gross people not picking up after themselves (as they actively are trying to enforce). I was really worried moving from a home in Texas to an apartment— but I love love love the convenience of the location and how it truly feels like home!
